For Students living in the Residential Halls or Campus Apartments who currently have a UCR Dining Plan and are too sick or medically unable to eat in person in the dining facility, you can request a Sick Meal online through the request form below. Please arrange for you, your roommate, or a friend to pick up your Sick Meal at one of the Residential Restaurants (Glasgow or Lothian).

Upon submitting the Sick Meal Request Form, you or your designated pick-up person will receive provided to-go containers from the cashier stations at Glasgow or Lothian. You/Your designated pick-up person will be responsible for filling the provided containers with food from the residential restaurant of your choice. For questions about the Sick Meal Request Form, please get in touch with your RSO.

Out of the health and safety of our staff and campus community, we ask that you kindly wear a mask upon entering the residential restaurants to pick up your Sick Meal containers. For any questions or concerns, please email diningservices@ucr.edu. We appreciate your cooperation.

How do I request a Sick Meal?

Please fill out the Sick Meal Request Form above online. Once your form is submitted, please arrange for your roommate or a friend to go to the cashier's station at one of the residential restaurants (Glasgow or Lothian). Your designated pick-up person will need to show the R'Card of the ill student and their R'Card to the cashier.
How do I request a Sick Meal for multiple days or meal periods?

Students must submit a request for each day and meal period they request a Sick Meal. A meal swipe is deducted for each Sick Meal request.
What's included with a Sick Meal Request?
- (1) Three-compartment compatible containers (microwave safe for reheating)
- (2) 12 oz "Green Print" cup container
- (1) 8 oz beverage container (straw not-provided)
- (1) Pastry / cookie bag
- (1) Reusable bag
- (1) Greenware compostable cutlery kit with a napkin
